People Living with HIV/AIDS

Objectives:

  • To promote a supportive and accepting environment in the community
  • To assist in empowering of and networking among people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV)

Activities:

  1. Organise publicity campaigns and education activities to promote acceptance of PLHIV, as well as dispel misconceptions and discrimination.

    The Getting to Zero - Egg Design Competition with roving exhibition of the prize-winning entries aims to raise awareness on AIDS for the realisation of "Zero new HIV infections", "Zero discrimination" and "Zero AIDS-related deaths“

    The thematic photo and short video competition aims to promote concern, support and acceptance to PLHIV

    Thematic Concert「紅絲帶 . 愛 . 同行 2010」promoting acceptance of people living with HIV/AIDS

    An Announcement of Public Interest (API) and poster were produced to convey messages on accept and care for PLHIV

  2. Red Ribbon Bulletin

    The Red Ribbon Bulletin is a regular publication jointly produced by Integrated Treatment Centre HIV Clinical Team and PLHIV, featuring articles and information of interest to PLHIV. Distribution of Red Ribbon Bulletin to PLHIV, community centres, schools, libraries facilitating the PLHIVs to share their feelings and to allow public to have a more in-depth understanding to them.
